Once all the required paperwork is returned, a flight can be arranged within 3 to 4 days. It is strongly suggested that a passenger take have a support person along as well as having a back-up plan should the mission be canceled due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.
  • Air Care Alliance The Air Care Alliance promotes, supports, and represents public benefit flying through communication and cooperation among organizations facilitating flights for health, compassion, and community service. The Air Care Alliance is a nationwide league of humanitarian flying organizations whose volunteer pilots are dedicated to community service. This ACA website will introduce you to all the groups we list whose volunteers perform public benefit flying for health care, patient transport, disaster relief, environmental support, and other missions of public service.
  • Angel Flight East Angel Flight East provides medical air transportation from Maine, south to the Carolinas, west to Ohio, and points in-between for qualified families and individuals not able to afford commercial airfare. We can link with other organizations such as Lifeline Pilots to get to points further outside of the Northeastern United States. Angel Flight East is here for people whose medical needs of evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment can only be met by health care facilities far from their homes. We help children and adults who experience potentially life-threatening illnesses or injuries. Call us at 1-800-383-WING (9464) to best determine if we can help you.
